CairnGorm Mountain
CairnGorm Mountain is an all year round, all weather visitor attraction at the heart of the national park. The CairnGorm Funicular is the country's highest and fastest mountain railway. The spectacular panoramic views from the terrace of the Ptarmigan Restaurant, nestled just under the summit are breathtaking. Also at the top you will find the mountain exhibition which offers an in depth insight into many of the mountain's themes including climate, flora and fauna and the many different ways people use the mountain.
During the winter, CairnGorm Mountain still offers skiers and boarders some of the best and most challenging runs in Scotland whether beginner or expert. Added to that are two terrain parks with a variety of rails, kickers and jumps.
